The current exciting opportunity is for the role of Chef de Cuisine at Litchfield's Restaurant, which is on the brink of a major renovation and culinary transformation. This position goes beyond traditional chef responsibilities; it provides the chance to shape the future of a restaurant aiming to become a premier dining destination. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily kitchen management, training culinary and operations teams, conducting meetings to communicate key information, and representing the culinary team in organizational meetings. The role demands a strong knowledge of food allergens and the ability to handle special dietary needs with urgency. Team leadership, cost management, and compliance with health regulations are other critical aspects. Candidates must have experience in high-volume professional kitchens with leadership skills, good organizational abilities, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
