Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and sorting linen
- Willingness to work full-time during the day shift
- Ability to follow hospital safety and linen handling protocols
- Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and behavior
- Willingness to participate in training sessions and service evaluations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a healthcare or laundry environment preferred but not required
- Ability to follow detailed procedural guidelines
- Strong attention to safety and cleanliness
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Collect, sort, weigh, and distribute linen and linen-related items including scrubs according to established policies and procedures
- Participate in program service evaluation activities such as patient and provider surveys
- Attend and participate in required training sessions
- Proactively report safety concerns including hazardous environments or broken equipment
- Follow up on identified issues and opportunities to improve service
- Escalate issues and concerns to supervisors or appropriate stakeholders
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance consistent with the hospital's mission and core values
