The Line Leader position at Cook Medical's Winston-Salem facility plays a crucial role in overseeing and supporting production personnel involved in the fabrication, assembly, packaging, and inspection of medical devices. This role is critical in ensuring that the manufacturing process adheres to stringent quality and safety standards, meeting regulatory requirements while maintaining operational efficiency. The Line Leader works closely with department supervisors and production teams to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

As a Line Leader, you will spend the majority of your time actively engaged in production tasks, leading by example, training new employees, and ensuring that all team members comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality System Procedures (QSPs). You will assist in coordinating department priorities, support manufacturing operations, and assume supervisory responsibilities when needed. This role demands strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and technical proficiency in using small measuring devices, gauges, and basic computer systems.

Safety is paramount at Cook Medical. The Line Leader is expected to enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to protect the health and well-being of all employees. Additionally, the position requires handling occasional physical tasks, including lifting items weighing between 5 to 50 pounds and working in a controlled environment.
