Job Requirements
- at least 21 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality experience preferred
- basic math skills

Job Duties
- apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with the established policies and procedures
- ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs including purchasing, receiving and inventory
- ensure meal and rest breaks are available and accurately recorded
- assist in establishing par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure food handling and sanitation compliance
- maintain a clean, safe and presentable production and merchandising area
- communicate effectively with management, guests and team members to address needs and inquiries
- utilize the POS system to accurately enter guest and take-out orders
- efficiently bag orders preserving item integrity
- set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for results
- secure the building at closing by locking doors, safe and setting the alarm
- perform other job-related duties as necessary
