Job Description
Established in 2018, Vicious Biscuit has rapidly become a pioneering force in the fast-casual breakfast industry. With a strong commitment to delivering exceptional food and service, this innovative restaurant has carved out a niche by blending the convenience and speed of fast-casual dining with the elevated standards of hospitality typical of traditional full-service establishments. Known widely for their indulgent biscuit menu, Vicious Biscuit has earned numerous prestigious awards and accolades, often recognized as serving the "Best Biscuits" wherever they operate. Their acclaim has extended to popular media, including a notable feature on The Cooking Channel's "Food Paradise." Operating seven days a week on a single-shift schedule, the company continuously pushes boundaries to create a breakfast experience that not only meets but exceeds customer expectations.
Joining the Vicious Biscuit team means becoming part of a community dedicated to hospitality, servant leadership, growth, and accountability. The company places immense value on serving others with warmth, kindness, generosity, and genuine care. This commitment fosters a welcoming environment where families and friends gather and where every team member is encouraged to demonstrate bold, authentic hospitality. The leadership philosophy centers on selflessness, putting the needs and growth of others at the forefront, and creating an environment where both guests and staff feel genuinely cared for.
Vicious Biscuit is passionate about continuous personal and professional development, cultivating leaders who embrace growth mindsets. The company believes in constant progress, striving to improve every day by being attentive, perceptive, and agile. They emphasize the equal importance of results and relationships and are dedicated to stewarding all resources responsibly and disciplinedly. Team members are empowered to take ownership of their restaurant and decisions, helping the business and themselves reach their full potential.
The role in question is that of a Back of House (BOH) team member, a crucial position that directly supports the culinary excellence for which Vicious Biscuit is known. The BOH team covers a variety of responsibilities, including working at the sauté and fry stations, assembling biscuits, managing prep tasks, dishwashing duties, and biscuit making. Employees are responsible for preparing food according to established recipes and maintaining consistency and quality through precise portion control and attention to detail. Operating cooking equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining clean and organized workspaces, and following strict food safety and sanitation standards are essential components of the job.
As a BOH team member at Vicious Biscuit, you will be expected to work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely food service. The position demands a proactive approach to inventory management, reporting stock shortages, and maintaining freshness by properly storing and labeling food items. The company encourages team members to embrace its inclusive culture, showing enthusiasm for personal and professional growth while committing to operational excellence. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food service, eager to work in a dynamic, supportive, and fast-paced environment where their contributions are recognized and valued.
