The role of Line Cook at Salted is a critical position that supports the company's goal of delivering outstanding cuisine to its customers. This is a part-time or full-time hourly role, offering a competitive salary in the range of $19 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and shift schedules. The primary shift hours are in the evenings, from 4pm to 12:30am, with some morning shift opportunities available. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items to meet Salted’s exacting culinary standards, ensuring every dish reflects the company’s dedication to quality and health-conscious ingredients.
This role demands a solid foundation of culinary skills, including proficiency in knife techniques, food preparation, and cooking on flat-top grills. Attention to detail and adherence to sanitation regulations and safety standards are paramount to maintaining the high standards that Salted customers expect. The Line Cook will collaborate closely with the virtual Front of House team, helping to create an exceptional dining experience that aligns with the company's innovative delivery model. This collaboration ensures that every order is prepared efficiently and accurately, delivering not only great taste but also excellent service.
With at least six months of kitchen experience required, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary. - willingness to work PM shifts (4pm - 12:30am) with some AM shifts available
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- reliable transportation to the Lawndale, CA location
