Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience or training
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written and spoken English
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated instructions

Job Duties

  • Prepare all menu items and prep work to management standards
  • Monitor quality indicators such as recipes, specifications, procedures, and ticket times
  • Ensure orders are coordinated and completed for delivery to Expo
  • Prepare "Take Out" orders in a timely manner when applicable
  • Prepare "Catering To Go" orders in a timely manner when applicable
  • Maintain plate presentation and garnish specifications
  • Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
