The role of Line Cook at Snowbird is a full-time, year-round position located within the Aerie dining establishment. This position is integral to delivering an exceptional dining experience by coordinating individual kitchen stations and maintaining effective communication with both front and back of house teams. A Line Cook at Snowbird must be knowledgeable about kitchen safety and health regulations, food preparation standards, and have the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires flexibility with varied shifts, including working weekends and holidays, to accommodate the resort’s fluctuating business levels and ensure guest satisfaction during peak times.
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for managing your assigned station, preparing menu items in accordance with established safety and quality guidelines, and collaborating closely with the culinary team to achieve seamless kitchen operations. You will participate in ongoing training to hone your skills and remain compliant with health and safety practices. This position also demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and guest relations, making it essential for candidates to demonstrate strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask efficiently. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of job-specific work experience
- food handler permit
- knowledge of kitchen health and safety rules
- must be at least 18 years of age
