Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • must be able to accommodate food allergies or special diet requests
  • flexibility for varied shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience with fresh seasonal ingredients is appreciated but not necessary
  • knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Prep while managing orders coming in throughout the day
  • interact with guests showcasing passion for foodservice and dedication to hospitality
  • adjust food items to accommodate guests with allergies or diet concerns
  • act as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
  • operate kitchen appliances such as blender, oven, flat top grill, or stand mixer
  • prepare sauces or accompaniments before meal service
  • maintain a clean and organized station even during busy times
  • estimate food consumption and organize preparation
  • fill out prep lists daily
