Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • No formal experience necessary but some kitchen or food preparation experience is beneficial
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for long periods
  • Must be able to hear and see well to ensure safety in the kitchen
  • Must comply with food sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts
  • Must complete onboarding session via Upshift platform

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic culinary skills including food preparation and cooking methods
  • Knowledge of food sanitation and safety standards
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience in kitchen or food service roles is a plus but not required
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules

Job Duties

  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
  • Cooking food items by grilling, frying, sautéeing, and other cooking methods
  • Maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation requirements
  • Cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
  • Standing and being on feet throughout the shift
  • Lifting and carrying up to 25 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally
