The role of a line cook at the Courtyard Hamilton involves a blend of culinary expertise and operational responsibilities. Key responsibilities include creating and designing innovative menu items, assisting the Executive Chef with budget management, and ensuring consistent adherence to food and beverage standards established by the hotel. Job Duties

  • be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and varied shifts
  • create and design new and unique menu items
  • assist the Executive Chef in establishment of department budgets and adherence to budget guidelines
  • ensure all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to hotel standards
  • ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following culinary preventative maintenance programs
  • fully understand and comply with all federal state county and municipal regulations pertaining to health safety and labor requirements
  • plan prep set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials
  • maintain organization cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
