Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of culinary experience
  • current resident of Oahu or Hawaii preferred
  • ability to work full-time hours
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • capability of working in a high-volume kitchen
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • help in managing the team
  • help to arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs and weekly/monthly deep cleans
  • give prepared plates the "final touch"
  • maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • fluent in best practices food control, including daily temp checks and line checks for am/pm shifts
  • fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, cleanliness, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests
