Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • prior experience in high volume restaurant kitchen
  • ability to operate, clean, and maintain kitchen tools and appliances
  • must obtain any required state or local licenses or certifications
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • ability to stand and walk for entire shift
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • able to work in confined and noisy spaces with varying temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in high volume restaurant kitchen
  • ability to communicate effectively to perform job requirements safely and efficiently
  • ability to multitask calmly and effectively in busy environment
  • knowledge of food safety and allergy procedures
  • proficiency in operating and maintaining kitchen tools and appliances

Job Duties

  • Prepare, produce, plate, and garnish all menu items according to recipes and special requests
  • set up station and maintain sanitation standards
  • follow portioning controls and par levels
  • communicate food delays or issues to culinary leadership
  • understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders
  • comply with safety and sanitation guidelines including MSDS
  • perform side work, opening, and closing duties
  • work collaboratively as a team player
