We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at our brand new Slanted Door location in Napa. This is a full-time position offering an hourly wage ranging between $24 to $27, along with the opportunity to participate in the service charge pool. The role is ideal for culinary professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and consistency. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in executing the restaurant's menu items with attention to detail, maintaining rigorous standards of food safety and hygiene, and supporting smooth kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks including butchering, cooking at the hot line and grill station, organizing workstations, and collaborating closely with your team to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred in a full-service restaurant
  • Strong butchering skills and proficient knife skills
  • Ability to read and execute recipes accurately
  • Experience working on the hot line and grill station
  • Knowledge of setting up, organizing, and cleaning workstations
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Food handler certified
  • E-Verify participation
  • EOE, FCO compliant

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred in a full-service restaurant
