Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a valid County Food Handler Card on file
  • Must be able to perform mathematical equations related to recipes
  • Must be able to understand and follow specific recipe instructions
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must complete pre-employment forms and pass background and math assessments
  • Must be able to work independently and in groups
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid County Food Handler Card
  • Ability to understand and follow recipe instructions
  • Basic mathematical skills related to recipe measurements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred current ServSafe Certification
  • Preferred 2 or more years experience in a high volume kitchen setting
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be on feet for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare hot and cold food items according to approved recipes and guest specifications
  • Handle food products from raw to final plating for service or display
  • Follow and enforce food safety and sanitation practices
  • Use cooking utensils and equipment properly, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
  • Store, label, and date food products appropriately
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Clean kitchen areas during and after events to maintain readiness for future use
