The company is currently seeking a part-time Cook for its Boulevard Senior Living community located in St. Peters, Missouri. This role is essential in maintaining the culinary standards that ensure residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals presented attractively and served promptly. The starting wage for this position ranges from $19.25 to $28.50 per hour, and there is a $2,000 sign-on bonus available. The work schedule involves shifts on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Possess a current Food Handlers Card as specified by the Department of Health
  • Demonstrate leadership, training, and supervision skills
  • Possess proficient communication skills
  • Be physically active with the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • Ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Be comfortable working in close contact with extreme temperatures
  • Availability to work indoors and outdoors for events
  • Criminal clearance
  • Willingness to work part-time shifts on Fridays and Saturdays

Job Qualifications

  • Skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English
  • Current Food Handlers Card
  • Experience in food service or culinary environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes
