Job Requirements

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
  • Detect and identify safety issues and comply with safety guidelines and standards
  • Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas and items
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold
  • Lift, push, or pull objects such as tables and chairs to reconfigure seating arrangements
  • Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently including ovens, grills, and knives
  • Maintain a neat and organized workspace including proper storage and cleaning
  • Move quickly and efficiently to respond to customer needs
  • Work in close proximity to coworkers in a crowded kitchen or serving area
  • Tolerate exposure to potential allergens and food odors
  • Maintain professional and hygienic appearance with proper uniform and grooming
  • Understand directives and communicate effectively with leadership and coworkers

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
  • Experience in a professional kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Comfortable working in hot and cold kitchen environments
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Ensure food safety and proper hygiene practices are followed
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies
  • Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently such as ovens, grills, and knives
  • Adapt quickly to a fast-paced and high pressure environment
