The resort prides itself not only on its breathtaking natural beauty and exceptional recreational opportunities but also on its dedicated and passionate team. Employees at Snowbird share a genuine love for the mountains and a strong commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience. Offering a variety of employment options including full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions, Snowbird caters to a dynamic workforce that supports the resort's unique summer and winter seasons. With a strong emphasis on community, teamwork, and professional growth, Snowbird fosters a welcoming and supportive environment where employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
Currently, Snowbird is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join their culinary team as a Line Cook at SeventyOne, a distinguished restaurant located inside the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird. This full-time, year-round position offers a competitive hourly wage of $21.00 and encompasses day and evening shifts, five days per week. Candidates must be flexible to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays, reflecting the resort's commitment to serving guests year-round.
As a Line Cook, the successful applicant will play a crucial role within the kitchen brigade, responsible for preparing and delivering dishes that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. Under the guidance of the Executive Chef, cooks are expected to adhere strictly to standardized operating procedures and recipes to ensure consistency in flavor and appearance. This position demands a keen attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the kitchen environment. Working in an open kitchen setting, the Line Cook also has the unique opportunity to interact with guests, enhancing their dining experience by showcasing professionalism and culinary expertise.
The role requires multitasking skills and the capability to manage prep levels and product quality efficiently across different stations. Line Cooks must work collaboratively with other kitchen staff, maintain clear communication lines with management, and handle guest concerns tactfully and effectively. The role also includes responsibilities such as participating in employee training sessions, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, and contributing to a safe and positive kitchen environment. This demanding and fast-paced position suits individuals who thrive in energetic settings and enjoy contributing to a team-oriented culture.
