The role available is a Line Cook position within the Brown-Forman Food Services team, hired through the Reserve Power temporary workforce. This role is designed for individuals passionate about creating exceptional culinary experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. The position is temporary for one year, with the potential for conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. Working full-time with an average of 30+ hours per week, the Line Cook primarily supports food services for Brown-Forman executives, employees, and guests, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
This role offers a unique opportunity to bring culinary creativity and precision to a collaborative kitchen team. The Line Cook will be expected to prepare and execute a variety of dishes, operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, and maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with all food safety regulations. The position requires cooperation across various kitchen stations, including Preparation, Exposition, Salad/Deli, Catering, and Dishwasher areas, contributing to a seamless food service operation.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen or catering environment
- valid Food Handler Certificate
- ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout shifts
- ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- availability to work peak days Monday through Thursday
- strong communication skills
- commitment to food safety and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen or catering environment
- valid Food Handler Certificate (Louisville Metro Health Department or ServSafe)
- ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout the shift
- reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- a passion for food and a team-first attitude
Job Duties
- Prepare and execute a variety of dishes with consistency, care, and attention to detail
- safely and efficiently operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, griddles, fryers, and slicers
- set up and break down workstations following proper sanitation protocols
- maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment
- collaborate across all kitchen stations, including Prep/Line Cook, Expo, Salad/Deli, Catering, and Dishwasher
- manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- adhere to all food safety, sanitation, safety, and security standards
- complete required safety training and maintain up-to-date certifications
- communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- present a clean, professional appearance at all times
