Advanced Recovery Systems is a leading integrated behavioral healthcare management company that focuses on treating addiction, substance abuse, and mental health disorders. Dedicated to putting behavioral health at the forefront, the company provides comprehensive assistance and support for individuals dealing with substance abuse issues, addictions, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Among their many facilities is The Recovery Village Kansas City (KCR), an addiction treatment center offering a full continuum of care for people struggling with substance use disorders. This center applies a holistic approach to addiction treatment that addresses both addiction and co-occurring conditions under the guidance of a physician-led team. The Recovery Village Kansas City features an 80-bed facility offering various levels of care, including medical detoxification, residential treatment, and outpatient programs. This facility is located in peaceful Raytown, Missouri, approximately 30 minutes from Kansas City International Airport, providing a serene environment conducive to recovery.

We are currently seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our team at the Raytown, MO facility. The Line Cook will play a vital role in assisting with meal and food preparation, maintaining food regulation compliance, and ensuring sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas under the supervision of the Food Service Director. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the facility’s food services, which contributes significantly to the well-being and recovery of our patients. The Line Cook will work closely and collaboratively with the facility leadership team to foster an environment of success and care. Responsibilities include ensuring the orderly storage and cleanliness of all kitchen, dining, and food storage areas; monitoring and documenting temperature charts for refrigerators and freezers; proper use of approved cleaning agents in all areas related to food preparation and storage; removal of trash and refuse; safe operation of kitchen equipment such as meat slicers; and inventory management of food service items and supplies. This position demands a commitment to safety, sanitation, and cooperation, along with a willingness to support facility goals and personal professional growth. The role also requires working in a patient-facing or resident-facing environment, emphasizing compassion and professionalism.

This opportunity offers a competitive starting pay of $16.50 per hour, dependent on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package–health, vision, dental, life insurance, telemedicine services, retirement with 401K matching, paid time off, holiday pay, sick pay, and employee referral bonuses. Working at Advanced Recovery Systems means joining a company that complies with all state and federal nondiscrimination laws and policies, fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace and embracing a drug-free culture.
