We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Linden Ponds. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and who takes pride in crafting high-quality, chef-inspired dishes. The Line Cook plays a crucial role in supporting our innovative Signature Dining Programs, which emphasize à la minute cooking to deliver freshly prepared meals that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing all meals and menu items according to established safety and cooking techniques. Ensuring accurate portioning, plating, and temperature control will be key aspects of your daily duties, all aimed at enhancing resident satisfaction through beautifully executed dishes. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and workstation is also a critical responsibility, supporting our commitment to food safety and an excellent dining experience.
Compensation for this position ranges from $21 to $27 per hour, commensurate with experience. Linden Ponds values quality of life, offering most restaurant team members a work schedule that concludes before 9 pm. The role includes a competitive benefits package featuring paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible team members, a 30% discount on food and beverages at on-site venues, and access to healthy meal options at discounted rates. Additional benefits include growth opportunities within our expanding community network, onsite medical centers providing wellness and sick care for team members over 18, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a company 3% match.
Joining Linden Ponds means becoming part of a team that embraces diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. We are dedicated to providing flexible work-life balance to empower our team members to meet their personal and professional aspirations while enabling them to contribute meaningfully to the lives of our residents. If you have at least one year of cook-to-order experience, enjoy working collaboratively, and are committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences, this Line Cook position offers a rewarding career path within a supportive and growing community.
