Belmont Village is recognized as a Great Place to Work® since 2018 and has been acclaimed by U.S. News & World Report as Best in Senior Living. The company takes pride in fostering a supportive, stable, and rewarding workplace environment for its employees throughout major markets including the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, and South Florida.

This hiring event at the Glenview location is looking to fill the position of Full-Time Line Cook. The Line Cook will be an integral member of the culinary team responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals in a restaurant-style dining setting designed specifically for senior residents and guests. The role involves food preparation from scratch, cooking, plating, and ensuring that every dish meets Belmont Village’s high standards for quality, presentation, and safety. Candidates will work in a professional commercial kitchen environment, operating between the typical shifts of 10am to 7pm and 9:15am to 5:45pm with some weekend and holiday shifts as needed.

Ideal candidates for this role are dependable, team-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced culinary environments. Strong knife skills, adherence to recipe standards, thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, and the ability to multitask during busy meal service times are critical. Belmont Village values culinary professionals who are passionate about hospitality, strive to provide an exceptional dining experience for their residents, and maintain a positive, cooperative attitude within their teams.

Working at Belmont Village offers a more predictable schedule compared to many traditional restaurants, enabling a better work-life balance. The company promotes career growth opportunities with ongoing development programs, a supportive team culture, and comprehensive employee benefits. Working here means joining an award-winning senior living community where exceptional hospitality and culinary excellence come together to enrich the lives of seniors every day.
