Job Description
Grand Living is a distinguished company rapidly becoming an iconic brand in senior hospitality. Dedicated to transforming how generations embrace life, Grand Living began with a vision to create unique and remarkable senior living communities. These communities are thoughtfully designed to provide residents with gracious apartments adorned with stunning decor and exceptional design excellence. However, the true hallmark of Grand Living lies not just in its luxurious architecture but in the people who bring these communities to life. Known for their unparalleled commitment to personal service, the staff at Grand Living fosters an atmosphere of warmth, respect, and care, ensuring every resident and guest experiences genuine hospitality from the moment they arrive.
Grand Living offers a variety of senior living options that blend luxury-inspired amenities with extraordinary service, making each residence not just a place to live but a vibrant community where residents can truly thrive. The company emphasizes quality of life, comfort, and wellness through a holistic approach that addresses physical, emotional, and social well-being. Their residents benefit from thoughtfully curated programs, exquisite cuisine, spa and fitness facilities, and engaging social activities designed to enhance daily living.
About the Position
As a Line Cook at Grand Living, you will play a vital role in elevating the resident experience by preparing and controlling the quality and quantity of food items served in the community. Your responsibilities will include working with various food categories such as meats, vegetables, potatoes, bread products, and desserts to ensure that each dish meets the high standards expected in this upscale environment. The role requires adhering to the philosophy of The Sterling Touch®, which means exhibiting professionalism, friendliness, courtesy, helpfulness, and timeliness in every interaction with residents and guests.
Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Line Cook operates under the community’s standards, procedures, and practices, contributing to the smooth functioning of the kitchen and overall dining experience. A successful Line Cook at Grand Living brings a passion for scratch cooking, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, cook-to-order kitchen, and a dedication to quality control. This position offers more than a job — it provides an opportunity to be part of an elite team in a luxury setting that values personal service as much as culinary excellence.
Grand Living supports its employees with competitive compensation and a rich benefits package. Full-time employees enjoy generous paid time off, affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a company-matched 401(k) plan, and life and AD&D insurance. Additionally, employees have access to spa and fitness facilities and complimentary employee meals, contributing to a fulfilling work environment conducive to personal and professional growth. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in high-end settings and are committed to fostering a superior dining experience for senior residents.
