Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Previous culinary experience with a strong passion for food and people
  • Team player with a good attitude and sense of urgency
  • Ability to read and follow written recipes
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to work in both hot and cool environments
  • Able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
  • Self accountable in upholding high standards
  • Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8 hours daily or as needed
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain it

Job Duties

  • Being an ambassador of the company's mission and core values and contributing to a positive work environment
  • Preparing high quality, fresh, from scratch food at high volumes
  • Following recipes and adhering to food specifications to ensure quality and consistency
  • Maintaining pars and counts of responsible items
  • Ensuring all food meets food safety and quality standards to eliminate cross-contamination
  • Using kitchen machinery including knives, ovens, grills, gas stoves, food processors, and blenders properly while complying with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Properly setting up, breaking down, and cleaning the station to support team success
  • Performing additional responsibilities as requested
