The position of Roast and Grill Cook at Fresh Kitchen is essential in maintaining the high standards the brand is known for. Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Previous culinary experience
  • Strong passion for food and people
  • Good knife skills
  • Team player with a good attitude
  • Ability to read and follow written recipes
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Able to work in hot and cool environments
  • Able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
  • Self accountable
  • Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8 hours daily or as needed
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain it

Job Duties

  • Prepare high quality, fresh, made-from-scratch food at high volume
  • Follow recipes and adhere to food specifications ensuring consistency and quality
  • Maintain pars and counts of responsible items
  • Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards to avoid cross-contamination
  • Use kitchen equipment including knives, ovens, grills, gas stoves, food processors and blenders properly while following sanitation guidelines
  • Set up, break down, and clean station properly to support team success
  • Perform additional duties as requested
