The Line Cook position at Torchy's is a pivotal role within the kitchen team, responsible for crafting high-quality, made-from-scratch food in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As a Line Cook, you'll have the opportunity to master several cooking stations including fry, grill, sauté, steam, and taco assembly. - Must be able to stand for several hours
- Must be able to bend stretch twist or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
- Must be able to lift push pull or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
- Ability to serve guests' needs with a high sense of urgency

Job Qualifications

- Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality standards

- Basic food safety knowledge is preferred

Job Duties
- Master the fry station ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
- Operate the grill station cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
- Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients to create dishes that are flavorful and perfectly cooked
- Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes that require steaming maintaining the right texture and flavor
- Assemble and build each taco to order ensuring each one meets high standards and guests' expectations
- Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients on the grill fryer sauté and steam stations according to recipes and standards
- Monitor the quality and presentation of each dish ensuring that every taco meets Damn Good standards before it reaches the guest
