Line Cooks play a critical role in the kitchen, preparing various menu items including meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads, and other dishes strictly following Red Robin’s recipes and standards. This includes cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking using various methods to ensure every dish is made to perfection. The Line Cook is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safe food handling practices to keep guests worry-free and satisfied every time they dine. The role requires a minimum age of 17, and the pay range for this position is between $16.95 and $20.45 per hour, reflecting the importance of the position and the skill required to maintain Red Robin’s culinary standards.

Job Requirements
- Minimum age 17 years or older
- Legal authorization to work in the country
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen environment is an asset
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure during busy hours
- Food handler’s certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare food items by cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking various ingredients including meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, and salads
- Adhere to Red Robin’s recipes and food preparation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
- Follow safe food handling and storage procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and quality food delivery
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and report any malfunctions
