Job Description

Cooper's Hawk is a unique dining and lifestyle brand featuring a Napa-style tasting room combined with a wine-inspired retail space, a full-service restaurant, bar, and private event venue. Established in 2005, Cooper's Hawk has successfully blended wine culture with culinary excellence, creating a modern-yet-casual dining experience that emphasizes scratch-kitchen menu items specifically designed to pair with their award-winning wines. The brand's Wine Club is one of the largest in the world, offering members exclusive benefits including curated dining and travel experiences that elevate the connection between food and wine. Additionally, Cooper's Hawk has expanded its culinary footprint with Piccolo Buco, a concept bringing authentic Roman flavors to their patrons, further enriching their diverse culinary offerings. As a company that values high standards, connection, and unforgettable moments, Cooper's Hawk is committed to delivering exceptional service and quality in all aspects of its operations.

The role of Line Cook at Cooper's Hawk goes beyond simply following recipes; it is about crafting memorable dining experiences through precision, urgency, and pride. This position offers culinary professionals the opportunity to develop their skills in a fast-paced and highly regarded environment where each dish is an expression of craftsmanship. The Line Cook is responsible for setting up and maintaining their station, following recipes with accuracy, controlling portions, and presenting dishes beautifully while using the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to manage timing and multitasking effectively. Cleanliness, organization, and impeccable communication with teammates are vital to ensure smooth service and uphold the high standards Cooper's Hawk demands. The role also emphasizes personal responsibility and teamwork, encouraging cooks to take pride in their work and contribute positively to the kitchen environment. This position offers flexible schedules, paid time off, and numerous benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401k with company match, monthly wine tastings, retail discounts on dining and wine, career growth opportunities, and wellness support. Applicants should be passionate about quality food, have strong knife skills, and have experience working in upscale casual restaurant settings. Cooper's Hawk is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to inclusivity and providing reasonable accommodations throughout the employment process.
