We are currently hiring for the position of Line Cook, Wok Cook, Cook, Chef De Partie, or Station Chef on both full-time and part-time hourly bases. This role focuses on the meticulous preparation and cooking of food to meet P.F. Chang's high standards of quality and consistency. Employees in this position will have the responsibility of following established recipes and procedures while observing safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain the integrity of our kitchen operations.
The pay range for this role is $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience. The Line Cook or Chef De Partie is a vital part of our kitchen team, tasked with preparing dishes precisely to the company’s specifications and plating food under the chef's guidance. This position requires hands-on involvement with setting up, operating, breaking down, and cleaning kitchen equipment. Candidates may also assist with cleaning duties such as dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing utensils to maintain our rigorous kitchen sanitation standards.

Previous experience is not required as we provide thorough training to help you succeed. The ability to learn recipes, understand weights, measurements, volumes, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment is essential. This role is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to multitask, work flexible shifts, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Job Requirements
- Previous experience is not required
- Have a current Food Handler's Card where applicable or willingness to obtain
- A love for food and an eye for detail with cooking
- Knowledge of weights, measurements, and volumes
- Ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes
- Knowledge of all chemicals used in the building
- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced teamwork environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Comfortable standing for extended periods, able to lift up to 30 lbs, and continuously bend, reach, and twist
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required
- Ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes
- Knowledge of chemical safety standards used in the building
- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced teamwork environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
- Plates prepared foods based on chef's guidance
- Responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
- May need to assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils, etc.
- Uphold our high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
