Compensation for this role ranges typically from $17.29 to $20.85 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $24.68 based on skills and experience. In addition to the base pay, employees receive a free meal each shift, flexible work schedules, and discounts on food for themselves and family members. Job Requirements

  • must be at least 17 years old
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is advantageous

  • physical stamina for standing and lifting during shifts

Job Duties

  • preparing food including cutting, sautéeing, broiling, frying, and cooking various meals including meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads, and other ingredients
  • adhering to safe food handling and cleanliness rules to ensure guest safety
  • maintaining a clean and organized work station
  • collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely food preparation
  • following Red Robin recipes and standards to maintain food quality and consistency
  • receiving and storing food supplies properly
  • assisting with inventory and kitchen stocking as needed
