Job Requirements
- Must have Food Handler's certificate
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week including overtime if needed
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to lift and balance items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Good physical condition to perform frequent walking bending stooping and reaching
- Willingness to comply with all health sanitation and safety regulations
- Must be eligible for employment verification through E-Verify
Job Qualifications
- Food Handler's certificate
- Experience in a similar culinary role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Job Duties
- Cook meats fish vegetables soups and other hot food products accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
- Comply with sanitation health and personal hygiene standards
- Follow established food production programs and procedures
- Use facility supplies and equipment responsibly to minimize loss waste and fraud
- Plate and garnish cooked items according to presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment including product rotation for freshness
