The role of Cook at Alltown Fresh Gourmet Market is central to the company’s Culinary Revolution, reshaping how communities perceive fresh, gourmet foods. As a cook, you will work closely with the Chef and Sous Chef daily, utilizing state-of-the-art kitchen equipment and tested recipes to contribute to a warm, welcoming, and creative work environment. You will be part of a team that partners with local farms and regional purveyors to ensure the freshest seasonal menu offerings, demonstrating pride in supporting local communities by giving back weekly and setting new standards in foodservice excellence.

Your daily activities include prepping meals, managing incoming orders, interacting with guests to showcase the team’s passion for foodservice, and adapting menu items to accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies. You will act as an essential link to front-of-house staff to ensure proper food service temperatures and hygiene standards. Additional duties include operating various kitchen appliances, preparing sauces and accompaniments ahead of service, managing food consumption estimates, maintaining clean and efficient workstations, and embracing added responsibilities as needed.

The pay range for this position starts from $17.17 to $20.61 per hour, with the final salary determined by experience, skills, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
