- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety
- flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift kitchen equipment
- strong work ethic and team collaboration skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience with fresh seasonal ingredients preferred but not necessary
- ability to work directly under a Chef and Sous Chef
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- strong communication and guest service skills
- ability to operate various kitchen equipment
- attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- passion for cooking and hospitality
Job Duties
- Prep while managing orders coming in throughout the day
- interact with guests showcasing passion for foodservice and dedication to hospitality
- make adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or diet concerns
- act as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
- operate kitchen appliances such as blender, oven, flat top grill, or stand mixer
- prepare necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service
- keep a clean and organized station even under busy conditions
- estimate food consumption and organize preparation, fill out prep list daily
- perform additional responsibilities as assigned
