As a Line Cook at Torchy's, you will be an essential part of the kitchen team, where culinary excellence meets speed and quality. The Line Cook will work closely with the back-of-house team to prepare ingredients, cook various proteins and dishes, and assemble tacos to order. Your responsibilities will cover everything from maintaining quality control and kitchen cleanliness to supporting inventory management and collaborating with team members to execute efficient food service during peak hours. Job Requirements
- Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler's certification
- Certification(s) must be obtained by first day or within the timeline required
- Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
- Ability to stand for several hours
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
- Ability to serve guests' needs with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to have fun

Job Duties
- Master the fry station to cook all fried items to perfection
- Operate the grill station and cook proteins to correct temperatures
- Manage the sauté station to create flavorful and perfectly cooked dishes
- Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming
- Assemble and build tacos to order meeting quality standards
- Prepare and cook ingredients on various kitchen stations according to recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations ensuring food safety
