Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a similar kitchen role preferred
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to comply with safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- minimum of 2 years of cooking experience preferred
- good English communication skills
- able to stand for long periods
- able to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- prepare authentic Italian dishes from scratch following the recipe to produce consistent results
- know and comply with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices
- cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
- portion all products, follow recipes, and ensure plate presentation looks beautiful
- maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation standards
- ensure workstation stays clean and organized
- adhere to all food handling standards
