We are currently seeking a professional Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position plays a crucial role in preparing food precisely according to the chef’s specifications and ensuring that all stations are adequately set up to meet the daily menu requirements. The Line Cook will assist the executive and sous chefs, contributing significantly to the smooth operation of the kitchen and supporting customer satisfaction and business growth objectives. This role demands strong culinary skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking a variety of dishes using different methods such as grilling, frying, and sautéing, and managing food inventory and storage. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across cooking surfaces and kitchen areas is also a key part of the job.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year experience in a professional kitchen
- ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- good communication skills
- ability to follow directions precisely
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or similar kitchen role
- knowledge of various cooking methods and kitchen equipment
- ability to follow recipes and chef’s instructions accurately
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work well in a team environment
- culinary degree or certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
- prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
- cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
- maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
- cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
- performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
