The LifeCafe Staff position is a vital role within the Life Time family, responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage services to members in a fast-paced cafe setting. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a passion for customer service. Staff members are expected to prepare menu items including food, shakes, and espresso drinks following standardized recipes and speed of service guidelines. Excellence in maintaining a clean and sanitized environment is essential to meet health and safety standards.
Employees in this role act as the face of the LifeCafe, interacting directly with members to answer questions, provide menu suggestions, and foster a friendly atmosphere. The position requires physical stamina to stand and move around for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift and handle items over 20 pounds. Additionally, LifeCafe Staff must obtain CPR/AED certification shortly after hire to ensure safety preparedness. Job Requirements
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced food service or cafe environment preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes and menu preparation standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
