Job Description
Park Vista is a dedicated retirement living community focused on providing compassionate care to seniors, particularly those in Memory Care programming. At Park Vista, we honor and cherish the trust families place in us to care for their loved ones who once cared for them. Our mission is to help residents live their best years by offering a supportive and enriching environment that alleviates the responsibilities of caregiving from families, allowing them to enjoy their role as loved ones. This heartfelt commitment is reflected in our core values: dignity, collaboration, compassion, and transparency, which guide every aspect of our services and team dynamics.
Park Vista is looking to welcome a Full-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator who will take a leadership role in our Memory Care Programming and overall retirement community activities. This position is pivotal in driving engaging, meaningful experiences that enhance the quality of life for our residents. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will work closely with the Regional Life Enrichment Director, implementing diverse and dynamic programming that not only entertains but also enriches and supports the emotional, social, and cognitive needs of our residents.
The Life Enrichment Coordinator role is full time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends to supervise activities and outings. Pay rates range from $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, with a $1.50 per hour differential for weekend shifts when applicable. Final compensation is based on experience, education, and demonstrated competencies, with opportunities for growth across three levels of coordination.
As a Life Enrichment Coordinator at Park Vista, you will lead hands-on activities, directly engaging with residents or overseeing Activity Aides to ensure programming calendars are followed effectively. You will design monthly activity calendars and newsletters, coordinate and manage entertainers and vendors including scheduling, payments, and contract compliance. Getting to know each new resident through interviews will enable you to personalize activities based on their interests and hobbies, strengthening a community atmosphere. You will be responsible for all communications and promotional materials relating to community events through various channels such as bulletin boards and invitations. The role also includes planning regular parties, special events, and assisting with marketing initiatives and meal services as needed.
At Park Vista, we believe that every moment matters. By joining us, you will be part of a dedicated team that 'Makes It Matter' for residents, families, and colleagues alike. If you are passionate about enriching the lives of seniors through creative and compassionate programming within a supportive community, this role is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
