The Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant plays a vital role within the Life Enrichment team, helping to plan, coordinate, and implement engaging activities designed to meet the diverse needs and preferences of senior residents. The role supports the creation of an enriching environment by assisting in the development of calendars, budgeting for activities, coordinating with outside organizations for special events, and ensuring smooth setup and cleanup. The assistant is responsible for providing oversight of specific life enrichment components such as Memory Care or specialized activity areas, contributing to the dynamic life enrichment offerings available to residents.

An essential part of this position involves coordinating transportation for residents attending outside events, which includes driving company vehicles when necessary. Strong communication skills are vital, as the Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant interacts closely with residents and staff to ensure activities run effectively and safely. This role requires adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a secure and positive environment for residents and associates alike.

Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout shifts. Preferred qualifications include experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, or demonstrated creative skills, which contribute to delivering meaningful and enjoyable activities that enrich resident lives. As a drug-free workplace, Legend Senior Living conducts drug screenings as needed to ensure a safe and responsible workplace.

Job Requirements
