The role of LifeCafe Staff is essential to maintaining the high standards of both food preparation and customer interaction within the cafe. Staff members are responsible for preparing and executing menu items swiftly and accurately following standardized recipes to ensure consistent quality. Speed of service is paramount, as the cafe caters to busy members who expect timely delivery of their orders. Alongside food preparation, LifeCafe Staff are tasked with delivering exceptional customer service by responding to member questions, providing friendly suggestions, and maintaining a positive and respectful environment.

Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a fast-paced, customer-oriented setting is a crucial aspect of this role. Whether it is managing spills, cleaning workstations, or ensuring the overall hygiene of the cafe, LifeCafe Staff must adhere to strict cleanliness standards to provide a safe and inviting space. In addition to food and beverage preparation, LifeCafe Staff are trained and required to prepare espresso drinks efficiently, given the demand for specialty coffee beverages among members.

This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to work in a stationary position for extended periods and the capability to move around the cafe promptly. Repetitive bending and lifting of items over 20 pounds are expected daily tasks, reflecting the active nature of the cafe environment. A key certification requirement is CPR/AED certification, which new hires must obtain within the first 30 days, underscoring the company’s commitment to member and staff safety.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the cafe for prolonged periods of time
