The role of a Licensed Security Guard at Hard Rock Stadium represents a vital front-line position within BEST Crowd Management’s operations. This part-time role is compensated at a competitive wage of $17.75 per hour, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to safety and customer service, and who already hold a Class D Security License. Security officers working at Hard Rock Stadium will be integral to a variety of events scheduled during the upcoming 2026 season, including Dolphins football games, University of Miami football events, the Orange Blossom Classic, and concerts featuring internationally acclaimed artists such as Bruno Mars, Karol G, and Chris Brown & Usher. The diversity of events ensures that each shift presents unique responsibilities and environments, demanding adaptability, vigilance, and strong communication skills.
In this position, you will maintain a visible and professional presence to deter any unauthorized or suspicious activity, walking assigned areas to continuously assess safety and security. Your duties will also include controlling access points by conducting bag checks and entry screenings to ensure compliance with venue policies and public safety requirements. The ability to respond promptly and efficiently to any incident, whether involving medical emergencies, disturbances, or unauthorized entry, is paramount. You will regularly collaborate with event staff, local law enforcement, and emergency services, ensuring that security operations run smoothly and any issues are swiftly resolved. Beyond safety enforcement, this role requires excellent customer service skills to assist attendees, provide directions, and answer questions, enhancing their overall experience at Hard Rock Stadium. Documentation and detailed reporting of any incidents are critical components of the role, ensuring continuous improvement and accountability within the team. Job Requirements
- Must already possess a Class D security license
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in event security, law enforcement, or related field preferred
- Possess strong physical fitness and stamina
- Exhibit excellent observational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work varied event schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Possess a valid security license or willingness to obtain one if required
- Successfully pass background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
