Learning Standards Analyst I Secret Clearance required

The current opening is for the position of Learning Standards Analyst supporting the U.S. Navy training program located onsite at Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is a regular full-time position and requires a Secret security clearance level. The salary range for this job is $64,230 to $86,250, depending on experience, location, and other factors. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing instructional materials aligned with Navy standards and collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate job duties and ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of training content.

As a Learning Standards Analyst, you will be crucial in enhancing Navy training programs by transforming complex technical information into engaging and interactive instructional materials. Your role will involve assisting in the facilitation of SME workshops, developing front-end analyses like Training Situation Analysis and Training Systems Analysis, and identifying training gaps to continuously improve curriculum design. This position demands a commitment to precision, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical experts to create impactful training content.

You will use Navy curriculum development software such as Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) I and II, Content Planning Module (CPM), and Learning Object Module (LOM) to develop courseware that meets established requirements. Your efforts will support the lifecycle management of training materials, making sure they align with operational needs and reflect up-to-date Navy standards and guidelines. Additionally, you will provide feedback on course safety plans and track the completion of training items to facilitate continuous quality improvement.
