Leigh & Co. Events is an expanding wedding planning company operating across the United States, recognized for delivering exceptional and personalized wedding experiences. Specializing in crafting unforgettable celebrations, the company works closely with couples to bring their unique visions to life by handling all aspects of their special day with professionalism and care. With a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, Leigh & Co. Events has established a reputation as a trusted partner in the wedding planning industry. The company continuously seeks talented planners who share a passion for weddings and are eager to contribute to memorable events across the country.
The Lead Wedding Planner position at Leigh & Co. Events offers an exciting opportunity for creative and organized individuals looking to make a significant impact in clients' lives. This contract role provides flexibility, allowing planners to choose their own schedules with compensation of $350 per project, covering a total of 10-12 hours of work. Training is provided to equip planners with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in providing comprehensive wedding planning services primarily on-site. Join the team for the 2026 season and beyond, becoming an integral part of a company dedicated to seamless and joyous wedding celebrations.
In this dynamic role, you will act as the primary planner overseeing the execution of weddings. Your duties include collaborating with client experience managers and assistant coordinators to ensure every detail is meticulously planned and flawlessly implemented. You will conduct the final details call with clients about six weeks before their wedding date to confirm logistics and timelines. Leading the ceremony rehearsal, you will guide all participants through the processional flow and timing, ensuring everyone feels confident and prepared for the event.
As the couple's main advocate on-site, you will maintain a calm, solutions-focused approach, managing any challenges with professionalism and grace. Your responsibilities extend beyond coordination to include overseeing the setup of the ceremony and reception according to the event design and day-of execution guidelines. Managing vendor arrivals, directing setup processes, and serving as the main point of contact for all vendors are crucial aspects of the role.
Additional duties include assisting with the placement of personal details and décor elements, supporting the wedding party and families with timing cues and guidance, and ensuring all important end-of-event items are properly packed and accounted for. Proactive problem-solving and adaptability are essential in maintaining a smooth, enjoyable guest experience throughout the wedding day. This role requires individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling the physical demands of the job, including carrying and lifting up to 30 pounds and ensuring reliable transportation to wedding venues.
Leigh & Co. Events embraces a flexible, team-oriented culture aimed at delivering impeccable weddings. If you have experience as a wedding or event planner and a passion for creating unforgettable moments, this role provides a unique chance to grow professionally and contribute to the joy of couples across the United States.
