We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team as Lead Wedding Coordinators for the 2026 wedding season and beyond. This is an exciting contract role offering flexibility where coordinators can set their own schedules, primarily working on-site during events. Comprehensive training is provided to ensure every coordinator is fully equipped to deliver exceptional service. The Lead Wedding Coordinator plays a crucial role in the successful execution of wedding events, working closely with client experience managers and assistant coordinators to ensure an impeccable and memorable day for our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting final details calls with clients to confirm logistics and timelines, leading the ceremony rehearsal, and acting as the main advocate for the couple throughout the wedding day. You will oversee the setup of both the ceremony and reception, manage vendor arrivals and breakdown, and ensure the alignment of event details with the agreed-upon plan. Additionally, your role involves supporting the wedding party and family members with timing and day-of needs, and proactively managing any challenges that arise to maintain a seamless experience. This position demands excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the physical stamina to handle event-day tasks. Job Requirements

Availability to work weekends is essential

High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Experience in vendor coordination
Capable of working independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

Conduct final details call with clients six weeks prior to the wedding
Lead ceremony rehearsal ensuring all participants understand timing and processional flow
Act as the main advocate for the couple on-site maintaining a calm and solutions-focused presence
Oversee ceremony and reception setup following event design and playbook
Manage vendor arrivals, event flow, and final breakdown
Greet, direct, and serve as primary contact for vendors
Coordinate placement of personal and event details including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and décor elements
Support wedding party and family with guidance and timing cues
Ensure all end-of-event items are packed and accounted for
Proactively resolve any last-minute issues or changes
