Known for its personalized and detail-oriented approach, Leigh & Co Events has become a trusted name in the wedding industry, helping couples bring their dream weddings to life across multiple locations. The company prides itself on delivering seamless, unforgettable experiences by combining creativity, professionalism, and dedicated client service. Whether organizing intimate gatherings or grand celebrations, Leigh & Co Events offers comprehensive planning services designed to make wedding days stress-free and truly special.
At Leigh & Co Events, the team is passionate about creating memorable moments that reflect each couple's unique love story. Supported by a skilled network of client experience managers, assistant coordinators, and expert vendors, the company ensures every aspect of the wedding planning process is handled with utmost care and precision. As the company expands, it continues to attract talented professionals who are enthusiastic about weddings and committed to excellence.
We are currently seeking Lead Wedding Planners to join our team for the upcoming 2026 wedding season and beyond. This contract role offers flexibility in schedule, making it ideal for individuals passionate about wedding planning who desire adaptable work hours. As a lead wedding planner, you will take center stage in managing and executing weddings at various venues, working closely with clients to translate their visions into reality. You will collaborate extensively with client experience managers during the pre-wedding stages to finalize plans and coordinate with assistant coordinators on the day of the event to oversee flawless execution.
Your responsibilities will include conducting final detail calls with couples approximately six weeks before their wedding date to confirm logistics, timelines, and expectations. You will lead the ceremony rehearsal, ensuring that all participants are confident and fully prepared. On the wedding day, you will serve as the primary advocate for the couple, maintaining a calm, solutions-oriented approach to support them through any challenges or last-minute adjustments.
The role also entails managing and supervising both the ceremony and reception setups according to the event design and day-of execution guidelines. You will be responsible for full wedding day execution, from the arrival of vendors in the morning to the final breakdown late at night. Welcoming and directing vendors and guests, providing clear setup instructions, and ensuring the flawless placement of personal and event details like escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and décor elements will be part of your core duties. Additionally, you will offer guidance and support to the wedding party and family members throughout the day while ensuring that all end-of-event items such as gifts, guest books, and personal décor are properly packed and accounted for.
This role demands proactive problem-solving and the ability to manage unexpected situations efficiently to guarantee a smooth and memorable experience for all attendees. With a flexible contract employment structure, this opportunity is perfect for experienced wedding planners seeking a rewarding role in a supportive and thriving company environment.
