Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred
- Ability to provide superior customer service
- Ability to operate cash register
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
- Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
- Ability to lift frequently up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 55 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle merchandise and equipment such as scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, and carts
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise
- Ability to drive own vehicle for bank deposits and training meetings
Job Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
- Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Ability to perform cash register functions
- Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies and practices
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred
Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations
- Model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment
- Assist in merchandising the store appealingly to retain customer excitement
- Rotate products to create eye-catching displays following company guidelines
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities
- Ensure store condense and reset standards are consistently maintained
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer purchases
- Assist customers with self-checkout at multiple register terminals
- Clean the store including trash removal, dusting, mopping, and restroom stocking
- Open and close the store under direction or in leadership absence
- Perform additional duties as assigned in the absence of Store Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader
