This full-time position is union-affiliated under Local 6, requiring complete open availability and flexibility in working hours and schedules which are based on seniority and business needs. Candidates must be comfortable with fluctuating hours since guaranteed full-time hours are not assured initially.

Your responsibilities include managing inventory and equipment needs, such as ensuring adequate supplies, coordinating equipment distribution, and supporting the logistical aspects of food and equipment delivery. The role also involves supporting team performance and development through daily oversight and fostering collaboration across kitchen, bar, and restaurant teams to deliver seamless service.
Integral to the role is ensuring compliance with regulatory standards encompassing health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations. The position requires a passion for hospitality, leadership qualities to inspire and guide team members, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability. The Waldorf Astoria values integrity, teamwork, and a focus on urgency and discipline to make impactful moments that contribute to exceptional guest experiences.
Beyond the operational duties, the Waldorf Astoria New York offers an empowering work culture recognized as a World’s Best Workplace by Great Place to Work and Fortune. They provide a supportive environment for professional growth through various perks such as exceptional travel benefits via Hilton’s extensive network, an employee stock purchase program, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving support, mental health resources with free counseling, generous paid time off, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, and retirement plans that secure financial futures.
