This role is for a Lead Program Manager position located in Rochester, NY, with a 9/80 work schedule. Serving within the Exquisite Imaging Solutions Business Area of the Space Superiority & Imaging Division, the Program Manager will oversee all phases of significant defense technology programs focused on advanced electro-optical technologies for space applications. These programs are strategically vital, requiring the manager to ensure alignment with broader business objectives, including meeting financial targets like orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow.

The Lead Program Manager will direct teams across technical and administrative functions to drive program success from inception through execution and completion. Responsibilities include managing cost, schedule, and technical performance, negotiating contracts, coordinating proposal and business plan development, and serving as the primary customer interface for program activities. The role involves substantial collaboration with internal functional organizations and customers to expand business opportunities through strategic roadmaps and capture management efforts. Mentorship and career development of team members are emphasized as part of the leadership responsibilities.

This role is well suited for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management, particularly in hardware development and advanced technology environments. Preferred skills include proposal management, risk management, EVMS expertise, and PMP certification. Compensation for this position ranges from $110,500 to $205,500 annually, with variation based on experience and location. Job Duties
