This seasonal position is for a Lead Line Cook within the Food & Beverage department, specifically serving Summit House and Brew 62. Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, the Lead Line Cook plays a crucial role in managing back-of-house culinary operations to provide the best possible dining experience for guests. The role involves training, coaching, and leading culinary staff while ensuring adherence to culinary guidelines, food safety standards, and operational procedures. The Lead Line Cook is responsible for food preparation, recipe adherence, station cleanliness, and maintaining a positive and professional kitchen culture. This position demands a high level of culinary skill, teamwork, and a strong commitment to maintaining quality and safety in all aspects of food production.

The Lead Line Cook serves as a second-in-command to the Executive Sous Chef and acts as the manager of back-of-house operations in their absence. The candidate must have a deep understanding of knife skills, prep work, and the ability to work all kitchen stations. They are also responsible for training and mentoring junior cooks, ensuring the delivery of healthy, safe, and high-quality food products, and upholding the highest standards of kitchen sanitation and food safety practices, including HACCP procedures. The job requires working in a fast-paced environment within a resort that values a positive work culture and guest satisfaction.
