Regarding the specific opportunity, this role is with Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, a distinguished member of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton and the Pyramid Family. Located in the heart of Tampa, the hotel features 210 stylish guest rooms and offers 13,042 square feet of versatile meeting space, blending a welcoming atmosphere with elegant accommodations. At Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, the team creates memorable experiences for guests by upholding exceptional service standards fueled by a strong culture of respect and teamwork. As a Lead Line Cook in the Culinary team, you will be joining a group dedicated to culinary creativity, precision, and excellence. This role demands a passion for food arts, creativity, and a commitment to growth in a professional kitchen setting.

The Lead Line Cook plays an essential role in assisting the culinary leadership, including the Executive Chef, by participating in food preparation and production for various dining experiences ranging from casual fine dining to banquet services. Responsibilities include learning and applying cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, and frying, crafting menus that reflect seasonal ingredients in collaboration with the culinary leaders, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and order within the kitchen environment. You will be tasked with preparing ingredients, setting up stations with proper equipment and supplies, minimizing food waste through effective cross-utilization of ingredients, and ensuring that food quality and storage meet the required standards.
