You will coach and mentor line cooks through every phase of service and prep, ensuring stations are properly stocked, organized, and ready before every shift. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods during shifts
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with hot equipment and open flames
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen leadership role
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail
- Proven ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Passion for Japanese cuisine and wood-fired cooking preferred but not required
